Actor Kim Kibeom from the group Super Junior confessed to what he had been unable to talk about until now. Recently, Kim Ki-beom uploaded a video with Super Junior member Kim Hee-Cheol on his YouTube channel with the title ‘Can I talk now – What happened at that time?’ In the video, Kim Kibeom shared honestly with Kim Hee-Cheol times with Super Junior and the reason he had no choice but to reject the recent entertainment program. Kim Hee-Cheol said, “When Ki-beom appears on the broadcast, the story of Super Junior comes out unconditionally, so Kibeom always asks, ‘What should I do?’ and said ‘I am not a guy who goes around dropping details about SUPER JUNIOR he said and rehearsed the expected questions that Kim Kibeom would receive when appearing on the entertainment program.
To Kim Hee-Cheol’s question, “Why did you leave Super Junior?”, Ki-beom answered honestly, saying, “I raised my hand and said that I would withdraw. I want to focus on being an actor”, and Kim Hee-Cheol said, “Originally, Super Junior was a project group. Kibeom and I tried to change to actors in 2005. But unexpectedly, the group reaction was good, so it continued.”
Kim Hee-Cheol continued, “Because Kibeom was a person who never thought he would become a singer. He feels stressed out for each song. He is practicing a lot, but his singing skills were not good. So, the other members were not impressed in the recording studio.”
In response, Kim Kibeom confessed his honest feelings. He said, “At one time, I asked if they could drop my singing part entirely. So. there was a song where my singing was missing. I felt so embarrassed, and my time in the recording studio was like hell.”
However, Kim Kibeom recently appeared on MBC’s entertainment program ‘The King of Mask Singer’ and went on stage after 13 years and sang two songs with an attractive low-pitched tone. The judges who listened to the song said, “Ki-beom recovers and has confidence.” and encouraged him to think positively. You just have to think that it will work well,” they cheered for Kim Kibeom.
