iKON’s Bobby revealed the reason why he does not appear in verse 1 of ‘Why Why Why’.
On KBS Cool FM’s ‘Raise the Volume of Hanna Kang’ broadcast on March 10th, iKON (Jin-Hwan Kim, Bobby, Yoon-Hyeong Song, Jun-Hoe Koo, Dong-Hyuk Kim, Chan-Woo Jeong) appeared as guests.
A listener asked Bobby, “Why can’t I hear you in verse 1 of ‘Why Why Why’?” Bobby said, “I was doing solo activities while preparing for the iKON album. I thought it was impossible to match up to verse 1.”
Jin-Hwan Kim added, “When Bobby comes out in verse 2, it has more impact, so we composed it like that.”
Bobby said, “It was really fun to watch the members from the sidelines. The members were having a hard time, but I felt like I was resting.” Yoon-Hyung Song said, “When I was filming the music video for ‘Why Why Why’, I was struggling with verse 1. But, Bobby was cheering me on from the side. I was envious of the appearance of him holding his cell phone.”
