Tomorrow by Together (TXT) ended their four-month EBS ‘Listen’ DJ journey.
Taehyun and Hueningkai of Tomorrow by Together (TXT) have been DJs of EBS ‘Listen.’
This is the only radio program for teenagers in Korea. On the 2nd, Taehyun and Hueningkai bid their goodbyes to the listeners on their last broadcast.
“Memories are like precious strings that hold each other firmly.”
Taehyun and Hueningkai opened the door to ‘Listen.’ They said that the past meetings must have been a long time. Before the ‘Listen DJ graduation ceremony,’ they said, “We will make a pleasant graduation ceremony so that our friends here on ‘Listen’ will not be sad. We hope we can celebrate graduation by looking back at the memories we have shared over the past four months.”
The two TXT members’ graduation arrived in real time. They expressed regret, saying, “We didn’t feel it when we came here, but seeing the messages like this makes us feel it is now real.”
In addition, in the ‘Listening Bamboo Forest’ corner that introduces the stories of the listeners, a listener said, “I didn’t listen to the radio well, but thanks to the two DJs, I learned how to listen to the radio. Thank you for making me happy for the week.” This message arrived that gave warmth to the two DJs.
The graduation ceremony began in earnest. TXT members Taehyun and Hueningkai expressed their thoughts by answering various questions. The listeners asked them how are they feeling now that they are graduating from the radio program. Also, listeners asked about the most thrilling moments while they are working as a DJ. Lastly, listeners asked what are the most touching listeners’ comments they’ve received. In addition, they held a variety of corners, such as Best 3 and the best 3 for listening to news scenes. The two made a colorful and delightful broadcast.
The two TXT members released a surprise gift prepared for ‘Listen.’ “The reason I have been able to DJ for the past 4 months is thanks to my listening friends who have been with me every week. Taehyun and Hueningkai said, “I prepared a simple live gift while thinking how to repay this gratitude.” Then they sang One Direction’s ‘Night Changes’ live. Listeners recorded their broadcast filled with messages of support and gratitude.
Finally, “Thank you to all the listeners and the production staff. It is really a precious time, and we had good memories,” said Taehyun and Huningkai. “We graduated from ‘Listen,’ but I hope you will love and continue listening a lot in the future.”
Even though TXT members Taehyun and Hueningkai became DJs for the first time, they showed off their natural progression and conversation skills. They led each broadcast skillfully. As a DJ for the youth project ‘Listen,’ they have formed a strong connection with the listeners through sincere communication. They sympathize with the stories of teenage listeners and gives advice. They did it very well.
In fact, Tomorrow by Together (TXT) will make a comeback to which Taehyun and Hueningkai belong. Fans can expect to see them perform again through their second full album, ‘Chapter of Chaos: FREEZE’ on the 31st.
