Kpop group THE BOYZ member Haknyeon became the fourth member of the team to test positive for COVID-19.
IST Entertainment said on January 28, “THE BOYZ’s Haknyeon received a positive result during an additional round of PCR tests for COVID-19 on January 27.”
IST added, “The other seven THE BOYZ members and their staff tested negative. However, considering the isolation period, we will continue to maintain strict quarantine and continue to test with PCR tests and self-testing kits. We will announce any changes if they occur.”
“The other positive members (Eric, Younghoon, and Hyunjae) are in isolation and receiving treatment after their diagnosis. They do not have any unusual symptoms and have recovered from their minor aches and pains. Haknyeon will also be going into treatment so he can recover quickly,” IST explained.
Meanwhile, Kpop group THE BOYZ confirmed that Eric tested positive for COVID-19 on January 24. After that, all members except Eric received negative tests. But, Younghoon and Hyunjae tested positive for COVID on January 26 and 27 through a re-test.
