Singer Sikyung Sung mentioned his feelings about the ‘gaslighting controversy’ surrounding him recently.
On June 24th, Sikyung Sung opened up about the controversy by communicating with fans through live streaming on his YouTube channel.
Earlier, a netizen recently posted an article in the Blue House official government petition site, revealing that Sikyung Sung gaslighted her. Person ‘A,’ who wrote the article, claimed that Sikyung Sung has been stalking and gaslighting her since last spring. However, ‘A’s’ writing was criticized for lack of concrete evidence or credibility. Also, Sikyung Sung’s side did not respond to the controversy. Other Internet users have also responded that it is absurd.
Sikyung Sung said, “There was an article saying that I was gaslighting. I read the comments posted by the fans on the community. This time, there was a lot of consolation. ”
He continued, “It’s hard to say how. She’s probably watching this broadcast, too. She may be thinking, ‘You’re talking to me again,’ expressing his frustration. But, I did not answer because I thought it would be better not to have an article. There was an article saying that I had no choice but to not answer.”
“What can I answer? There needs to be one truth to answer,” he added.
Sikyung Sung said, “People around me say it must be hard. Fans who originally knew it and saw it on social media can know it. I think it would be better to let her get the punishment. You may think it’s nosy, but I decided that I had the right to say so because she damaged me.”
He continued, “Originally, I wouldn’t talk like this. It would be nice if you could stop, but I don’t think it will stop. So, if you don’t, I’ll make it possible for you to receive punishment. I keep asking my lawyer.”
Sikyung Sung said, “I think it would be better to say, ‘Can I help you?’ rather than ‘Please scold me.’ Those who want to be scolded are malicious commenters. I’m more frustrated than hateful.”
Finally, he said, “She commented on YouTube again. I can’t stop, so I think it would be good to wait and receive the punishment if the lawyer calls me.”
Sikyung Sung also gave a tip to the malicious commenters who created the ‘late rumor’s that tormented him. He pointed out, “This person (referring to gaslighting) sincerely believes that way and has no malice. But, what’s worse is that she edits the video to make me look unprofessional and makes malicious comments.”
He continued, “People who say bad things are worse than this person. I won’t stop until I retire. I will give a part of the money I earned to a lawyer to keep finding out.”
Sikyung Sung added, “This isn’t going to be hard. It was a little harder when I was criticized after I took the coordinates before. It was more annoying at that time because it was malicious.”
