
Girl group Rocket Punch is entering on the global charts.
The new song ‘Ring Ring’ by Rocket Punch (Yeonhee, Juri, Suyun, Yunkyoung, Sohee, Dahyun) ranked 17th on the World Digital Song Sales Chart for the 3rd week of June announced by Billboard on June 15th (KST).
In addition, this new song surpassed 1.17 million cumulative streaming on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming site. Besides, their debut title song, ‘BIM BAM BUM,’ achieved 6 million cumulative streaming, proving the global growth of Rocket Punch.
Forbes, an American economic magazine, selected ‘Ring Ring’ as a track worth paying attention to on the World Digital Song Sales Chart. Forbes said, “The rapid rise in the rankings shows that Rocket Punch is solidifying its position in the United States.”
In addition, Rocket Punch will make its official debut in Japan on August 4th. The news of their debut in Japan proved to be of great interest from the local media and the public by occupying the main page of Yahoo Japan, Japan’s largest portal site.
Rocket Punch’s first single, ‘Ring Ring,’ released on May 17th, not only entered the top spots on major domestic music charts. But, it also ranked on the iTunes Top K-Pop single charts in 12 overseas regions.
