PlayM Entertainment, a subsidiary of Kakao Entertainment’s music label, and Cre.ker Entertainment have merged under the name ‘IST Entertainment.’
IST Entertainment said on November 12, “PlayM and Cre.ker have launched a new integrated corporation called ‘IST Entertainment/IST Entertainment Corp.'”
PlayM includes Kpop group Apink, boy group VICTON, rookie girl group Weeekly, and band group Bandage. Then, Cre.ker is the home for the Kpop group THE BOYZ.
IST Entertainment, a new name, is determined to allow its artists to take the lead in the global market by exerting synergy in an interconnected system between the two companies.
“We will strengthen our planning, production, and management competitiveness to showcase various activities toward the global stage. So, we ask for warm attention and support from IST Entertainment in front of you under a new name,” IST Entertainment said.
