Top Korean artists will be on the stage of the ‘2021 Peace Concert-Heart, Connect (Peace Concert).
On June 9th, the ‘2021 Peace Concert – Heart, Connect’ (general planning, Woongsik Yoo, director Gukjin Ko, hereinafter ‘Peace Concert’) commemorating the 21st anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration said, “Jiyoung Baek, Gummy, So-Hyun Kim, and Jinho Kim will participate in the Peace Concert.”
According to the first lineup released on this day, musicians from various genres will appear at the concert. The artists to perform includes Jiyoung Baek, Gummy, SG Wannabe, Jinho Kim, and musical actress Kim So-Hyun. The artists’ lineup is now attracting attention.
Jiyoung Baek is Korea’s leading vocalist who touches the heart with her voice alone. Gummy is a vocalist who touches the heart with her heavenly voice. Then, Jinho Kim and SG Wannabe impress fans with their appealing vocals and emotions. And, So-Hyun Kim, a musical actress, is making a mark in the musical world with outstanding acting skills. They will all gather to join the concert.
The artists will convey the pain and wounds of the divided country and the longing of the displaced people for their hometowns with deep sensibility. They will deliver a message of peace and harmony through touching music.
Previously, actors Taegyu Bong and Youngdae Kim confirmed their participation as presenters. They conveyed the program’s purpose and contents more easily and sincerely. People are now paying attention to which artists will rise on the stage and decorate the ‘Peace Concert’ more colorfully.
Gyeonggi-do and Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation, with the support of the National Council for National Reconciliation and Cooperation and the Daejung Kim and Heeho Lee Memorial Project, produced the ‘Peace Concert.’ Due to Covid-19, they will conduct the concert without live audiences. It will air live on KBS 1TV from 5:40 pm on June 13th for 80 minutes.
