Kpop group OH MY GIRL, known as the ‘Concept Idol,’ will release a limited edition vinyl (LP) of the ‘Secret Garden.’
According to the agency WM Entertainment, online pre-sale of the limited edition 7-inch vinyl (LP) of OH MY GIRL’s 5th mini-album title song ‘Secret Garden,’ released in 2018, will take place from January 29 to February 4.
The album, created in collaboration with Seoul Record Fair, was unusually produced as a 7-inch album for idols, and not only the title song but also the instrumental, which was hotly requested by fans. The version is also included, drawing more attention.
Mainly, ‘Secret Garden’ is a song that won first place in the debut music broadcast and is the best hit song that clearly imprinted the name of OH MY GIRL to the public. The release of this limited edition 7-inch vinyl (LP) is even more significant, as it is a song that is still greatly loved by capturing the identity of OH MY GIRL, as well as hopeful and warm comforting lyrics.
Online pre-orders for the album, to be available offline at the 10th Seoul Record Fair’ took place earlier on January 22 and the Seoul Record Fair website (recordfair.kr).
Meanwhile, OH MY GIRL succeeded in consecutive hits by setting various records with ‘Dun Dun Dance’ released in May last year. They received a commendation from the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism at the 2021 Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards. Especially this year alone, OH MY GIRL won the Main Prize at the 31st Seoul Music Awards and the ‘Digital Song Award’ at the 36th Golden Disc Awards. Also, the Kpop group OH MY GIRL has won the ‘female idol’ award at the 2022 Korea First Brand Awards.
