
Group OH MY GIRL (Hyojung, Mimi, Binnie) will participate in singing the third OST of ‘Racket Boys.’
SBS drama ‘Racket Boys’ (written by Bohun Jung/directed by Youngkwang Cho/ produced by Pan Entertainment) has been in the top spot for eight consecutive times. It is since its first broadcast and has been on the rise in popularity every week. Particularly, Hyojung, Mimi, and Binnie of the popular group OH MY GIRL will sing the OST ‘Teacher, I Love You,’ raising expectations.
IOn June 25th, a surprise greeting video of OH MY GIRL members was released on Music & New social media. It is the OST distributor of ‘Racket Boys.’ OH MY GIRL Hyojung, Mimi, and Binnie said, “The original song was about the feelings of the first love towards a teacher, expressed with a young girl’s emotions.
This time, the original song’s lyricist changed the lyrics. So, anyone, regardless of age or sex, can recall their precious first love memories from when they were young. It will be better if you listen to the song while reflecting on your first love from your younger days.”
The original 1998 song ‘Teacher, I Love You’ conveys the feelings of a girl who has a crush on her teacher. The song is still considered a top masterpiece track today. At the end of the video, OH MY GIRL members slightly revealed the remake track. The snippet of their OST gave viewers feelings of nostalgia of the original song. But, it also aroused curiosity by hinting at the unique musical style of OH MY GIRL.
Recently, OH MY GIRL released their 8th mini-album ‘Dear OHMYGIRL,’ and their title song ‘DUN DUN DANCE.’
They took the top spot on major domestic music charts and won in three music shows. The music video surpassed 10 million views within 32 hours of release. The Initial album sales record also broke its own record. They show off the potential of a top girl group in various fields, including music, entertainment, and acting.
They will release the third OST ‘Teacher, I Love You’ with the voice of OH MY GIRL at 6 pm on June 29th.
