
Kpop group NU’EST member Ren will not attend the ‘KBS Song Festival.’
Pledis Entertainment announced through social media on December 16 that NU’EST’s Ren came in contact with a confirmed case of COVUD-19 on December 14, took a PCR test, and tested negative.
Pledis said, “All NU’EST members have received their two doses of COVID-19 vaccine in early November. So, there are no restrictions for any outside activities if PCR test results come back negative. In addition, Ren currently has no suspicious symptoms such as fever or respiratory diseases.”
“Nevertheless, in consideration of the health and safety of those around him, Ren began his self-quarantine on December 15. He plans to undergo an additional PCR test according to the health services guidelines. As such, Ren will be absent from the ‘2021 KBS Song Festival,’ and Kpop group NU’EST will stand on stage as four members.

This is PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT.
We wanted to inform you about the schedule of NU’EST member Ren.
On the evening of December 14, Ren was confirmed to have come into close contact with a positive COVID-19 case. So, he immediately underwent a PCR test on December 15, and he received negative results.
From December 14, there was no contact between Ren and the NU’EST members.
All NU’EST members have received their two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in early November. So, there are no restrictions for any outside activities if PCR test results come back negative. In addition, Ren currently has no suspicious symptoms such as fever or respiratory diseases.
Nevertheless, in consideration of the health and safety of those around him, Ren began his self-quarantine on December 15. He plans to undergo an additional PCR test according to the health services guidelines.
