Kpop group NCT member Doyoung participates in ‘Yumi’s Cells’ OST. Stone Music Entertainment, which produces TVING’s original drama, ‘Yumi’s Cells’ OST, said on September 30, “Doyoung will be the singer of ‘Yumi’s Cells’ OST Part 4. ‘Like a Star’ and will release the song on October 1 at 6 pm on major domestic music sites.”
You can hear ‘Like a Star’ in the scene where Yumi (Goeun Kim) and Gu Woong (Bohyun Ahn) meet for the first time in episode 2 of ‘Yumi’s Cells.’
Since the viewers’ heard the song, there are many questions about its release as it decorates the last four ending kiss scenes.
Mainly, it is a pop ballad song used as background music for each decisive moment of Yumi and Gu Woong. So, it gives an excitement to the viewers. The lyric guitar performance, emotional melody, and the delicate and sweet voice of NCT Doyoung will bring a calm emotion.
