Kpop Band Nah, Yuree Choi, PL, W24, YESEO, and Nerd Connection released songs one after another.
Musicians selected for ‘Muse On 2021 (or Muse On),’ a leading musician development project in Korea, are revitalizing the indie scene with a series of new songs.
‘Muse On’ is the representative musician nurturing project of the Korea Creative Content Agency, which discovers promising musicians in Korea. Also, it helps them grow through various online and offline support programs. A total of 418 teams applied for ‘Muse On’ this year, and they selected the final 15 teams. The selected musicians are continuing their active music projects.
Particularly, the passionate ‘release rush’ of those who overcame the COVID-19 situation stands out.
In July, Band Nah released the single ‘Summer Days’ and Yuree Choi released ‘Let’s Stay Well.’
Band Nah showed their original strength of rock sound through ‘Summer Days.’
Then, Yuree Choi created a new song by arranging the existing song ‘Let’s Stay Well’ in her own style.
Next, PL released the EP ‘WALLFLOWER’ through Muse On support at the end of July. This album consists of songs that comfort ‘adult-like children’ who are going through a painful growth period. It is the last of the cinema trilogy continuing PL’s previous work.
In August, starting with the release of the band W24’s single ‘It’s Gonna Be Alright,’ on August 13th, the active release of Muse On musicians continued for three consecutive days. ‘It’s Gonna Be Alright’ is a song that anyone who has experienced a breakup can relate to. Also, it has a mournful yet powerful rock sound.
Next, EDM artist YESEO released an EP, ‘TRY FREE!,’ a song about true freedom, on August 14th. So, following the release of the OST for the drama ‘The Witch’s Dinner’ at the end of July, YESEO is actively promoting until the release of the EP.
Finally, on August 15th, the band Nerd Connection released the track ‘Life Dancing’ as a single. They will include it in their first full-length album.
In addition to Band Nah, Yuree Choi, PL, W24, YESEO, and Nerd Connection, who introduced new music through ‘Muse On,’ there are more participating musicians. It includes Messgram, Yunsae, Huh!, BÉBE YANA, Yumi Shin, Adios Audio, WeAreYoung, Redoor, D’allant. So, a total of 15 teams of musicians selected for ‘Muse On 2021′ will be showing various activities, including songs’ releases.
