MONSTA X showed off their strong brotherhood.
On the afternoon of June 8th, the group MONSTA X appeared on MBC FM4U’s ‘Kim Shin Young’s Noon Hope Of Song.’
MONSTA X, which marks the sixth anniversary of its debut, made a comeback on June 1st with the title track ‘GAMBLER’ of its ninth mini-album, ‘One Of A Kind.’
Regarding the 6th anniversary, Minhyuk said, “The members pass by calmly on the anniversary. It seems like about 10 years since we were together. Our fans will know, but none of us have sisters. So, we’re like a family.” He boasted his strong loyalty to the members. “Celeb Five is the same,” said Shinyoung Kim. “I didn’t know, but the fans said it’s our 1,000th day. It’s been a thousand days, but there are only three songs,” she said with embarrassment.
Shinyoung Kim asked I.M and Hyungwon to make an acrostic poem with the name ‘Monbebe’ of MONSTA X’s fan club. So, I.M said, “I want to go to Monte Cristo. Venice isn’t bad either. I like Bebe the best.” Then, Hyungwon said, “How handsome are you?” A jawline that’s like a cut. “I’m going to cut my nose,” he said with a witty acrostic poem, making everyone laugh. In response, Shinyoung Kim said, “There are comedian juniors. I.M. is Yongjin Lee, and Hyungwon is Jinho Lee.” Feeling delighted to hear that, I.M. said, “These two comedians are my favorite comedians.”
At Shinyoung Kim’s suggestion, the members had time to praise each other. MONSTA X Kihyun said about Jooheon, “He writes great songs and has beautiful dimples. It makes people feel good. You’re handsome these days because you’ve got a lot on my appearance.” Then, Jooheon said to I.M, “You’re sexy, calm, and charismatic in your own way. Especially this time, you wrote the rap really well. I was touched. I hope you can be a great rapper and composer in the future.”
MONSTA X I.M said to Hyungwon, “Your heart is warm. I’m looking forward to the future more because you have infinite potential.” Hyungwon said to Minhyuk, “I’ve been with you for 10 years, and I want to praise you for growing up to be such a cool adult. Your front teeth are beautiful when you smile. I hope you will continue to show a lot of smiles and bring happiness to others.” Minhyuk also said to Kihyun, “I want to learn your beautiful eye smile. I respect you,” he said in praise.
MONSTA X started promoting the album in earnest. The title song ‘Gambler,’ produced by Jooheon, is an impressive song with a heavy bass rhythm and electric guitar sound. The lyrics also clearly show MONSTA X’s unique personality by expressing the feelings and confidence they felt. It is strong enough to bet everything. Jooheon made it into a villain concept when he made the song. It’s the setting that the villains went up and became ‘Gambler,’ he explained.
In addition, MONSTA X had a speed quiz time for the fans who were listening. Minhyuk selected ‘Running Man’ as the entertainment program he would like to appear on. He said, “I want to learn everything from the seniors by entering ‘Running Man’ as the youngest.”
Jooheon chose AESPA as the group he wants to work with. “Aren’t AESPA’s hot these days? As soon as I heard ‘Next Level,’ I thought, ‘I wanted to envision this kind of feeling.’ All the songs were good. I am working hard on making songs. If you need me, call me anytime, and I will run to you.” He just bid a proposal to SM Entertainment.
Finally, MONSTA X gave a loving greeting to the fans, saying, “We will do this promotion well. We will greet you in many places. It is an activity that we are truly touched by. Thank you for being with us, Monbebes.”
