The group ITZY announced that they would like to receive a 10 million won bonus from their agency if they win first place with their new song, ‘MAFIA In The Morning.’
ITYZY members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna, appeared as guests on the SBS entertainment program ‘Tikita CAR.’ It aired on the 2nd. On the 30th of last month, ITZY released their new song ‘MAFIA In the Morning’ and made a comeback.
On that day, the MCs asked ITZY what gift they would like to receive from Jinyoung Park (JYP Entertainment’s head) if their new song ranked first. In response, Ryujin replied, “I hope he would give us a bonus.”
Gura Kim asked how much they would like to receive. Ryujin said, “Because we have 5 members, we aren’t that many; maybe a 10 million won will do.” She answered while making a laugh.
The MCs mentioned that ITZY took a long time to debut. They asked, “Have you ever thought of making a song for money?”
Chaeryeong replied, “I made a lot of special plans to quit. I wondered if I could do YouTube videos, or we had to go out hand in hand. We would be able to go to any company.”
ITZY also said about the monthly skills evaluations they had to take every month during trainee days. Particularly, Chaeryeong, who had been a trainee for 7 years, said, “At this point, I don’t have to be nervous, but I hated myself for being nervous at the end of every month’s skills evaluation.”
