
Infinite’s member Seong-Gyu Kim decided not to renew his contract with his agency.
On the 7th, Woollim Entertainment announced that Seong-Gyu Kim will not be renewing his contract. “Infinite’s member Seong-Gyu Kim ended his exclusive contract with our company after 11 years. His contract ended on March 6, 2021.”
“Recently, we agreed not to proceed with the renewal of this contract. This is after a long discussion with Kim Seong-Gyu ahead of the expiration of his exclusive contract. After all, we still support and cheer Seong-Gyu,” the agency stated.
Previously, Seong-Gyu Kim was active in various fields such as solo singer activities and entertainment musicals. Infact, he released a third mini-album ‘INSIDE ME’ in December. This is after completing his military service in January of last year.
Infinite debuted in 2010 with their title song ‘Come Back’ from their first album ‘First Invasion’. Ho-won Lee (Hoya) and Myung-soo Kim (L) both ended their contract with Woollim Entertainment back in 2017 and 2019.

Recently, Infinite’s member Seong-Gyu Kim ended his exclusive contract with us on March 6, 2021. This is after 11 years of working with us.
In fact, we have a long discussion ahead of the expiration of his exclusive contract. In the end, we both agreed not to proceed with the renewal of his contract.
Back in 2010, Seong-Gyu Kim has been doing his best in various fields as the Infinite’s group leader. After all of his hard work, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Seong-Gyu Kim. He has been with us for a long time.
