
Kpop group iKON’s ‘KILLING ME’ music video has surpassed 200 million views on YouTube.
According to YG Entertainment, on October 6, iKON’s ‘KILLING ME’ music video exceeded 200 million views on YouTube at 10:52 pm the previous day.
This confirms the continued love of global fans by gathering more than 200 million views on the music video following the 500 million views of’ LOVE SCENARIO.’
‘KILLING ME’ is the title song of iKON’s mini-album ‘NEW KIDS: CONTINUE,’ released in August 2018. It conveys sad and lonely feelings after parting through the harmony of riffs and melodies made up of vintage piano tones and sophisticated flute synths.
This song achieved valuable results on various global charts after its release. Not only did it top the real-time charts of major domestic music sites, but it also topped the Chinese Kugou Music KPop New Songs Chart and the no. 2 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart.
The US Billboard said, “‘KILLING ME’ is different from existing Kpop music. It keeps causing a phenomenon that lingers in your head. The soft vocals and hard rap of iKON members captivate the ears of the listeners at once.”
Meanwhile, since its debut in 2015, the Kpop group iKON has continued to produce several hits songs. It includes ‘KILLING ME’ ‘Love Scenario,’ ‘My Type,’ ‘Apology,’ ‘Rhythm TA,’ and ‘Why Why Why.’
Also, they maintained their strong popularity as one of Kpop’s leading groups.
