According to Warner Music Korea on the 21st February, ‘Encore’ ranked first on the ‘iTunes Song Chart’ in 42 regions around the world, including the United States, Spain, Brazil, Chile, France, Mexico, and Singapore.
It is the first K-pop group this year to hit No. 1 on the ‘iTunes Song Chart’ in the US.
GOT7’s ‘Encore’ also ranked #1 on the iTunes ‘World Wide Song Chart’ category on the first day of its release.
GOT7’s ‘Fan Song’ contains the message that they really want to continue singing for the happiness of their fans.
GOT7, which has enjoyed high popularity both in South Korea and abroad, has been handled by different management companies until they signed a contract with JYP Entertainment and had their contract renewed at the beginning of this year.
Despite the pandemic, GOT7 still managed to release a song for their fans, which will make their group more bonded as a team.
