Those who spread false information related to EXO Chanyeol were sent to the prosecution.
On May 17th, Chanyeol’s agency, SM Entertainment, gave their statement to Herald POP (Korean Media). They said, “We understand that the police sued those who spread false information about EXO Chanyeol. They sent the accused to the prosecution with an opinion of an indictment.”
Also, they added, “It is one of the charges against the infringement of artist rights that the company continues to respond to. So, we are taking legal action against illegal activities. It includes spreading false information and insulting personalities not only Chanyeol but also other artists.”
Earlier, in October last year, Chanyeol became a hot topic regarding the controversy over his private life-related disclosures.
In March this year, EXO Chanyeol enlists in the military.
