EXO Baekhyun (29, real name Baekhyun Byun) will start his military service as a public service worker.
On May 6th, Baekhyun will enter the training center privately. He will receive basic military training for three weeks and fulfill his military duty as a public service worker.
Earlier, he has been receiving medical treatments due to hypothyroidism. Because of his health condition, he was given the duty to serve as a public service worker.
Last month, he announced the news of his mandatory military service. He said, “I received a notice of enlistment on May 6th.” He announced it through his fan community website.
Earlier, Baekhyun debuted as a member of the group EXO in 2012. He has been actively working with the group while also doing solo activities. On March 30th this year, he released his third mini-album ‘Bambi’ with the title track of the same name.
