
ENHYPEN is showing overwhelming sales among male group albums released in 2021. ENHYPEN’s second mini-album, ‘Border: Carnival,’ released on the 26th of last month, recorded a sales volume of 319,073 copies on the first day. The aggregated quantity by the 30th, the fifth day of release, exceeded 370,000 copies. It is the highest album sales volume in the same period of all-male groups who made a comeback this year.
Accordingly, the cumulative sales volume expectations for the first week of the new album are also rising. ‘Border: Carnival’ made a record that far exceeded ENHYPEN’S previous album, ‘Border: Day One,’ with the first week’s record of 288,873 copies sold. The first day sales of ‘Border: Carnival’ already broke the record within the first day of its release.
In fact, the title song ‘Drunk-Dazed’ from the album, ‘Border: Carnival’, reached No. 29 on the daily chart of Japanese Line music ‘Top 100.’ It is on the day of its release on April 26th and then rose to second place on April 29th. In addition, the song also ranked first for two days from April 27th on the Japanese music site ‘Recochoku.’
