The group BTS won the award for best sound source and the award for best album at the 30th Seoul Music Awards.
The 30th High1 Seoul Music Awards, which summed up the music industry in 2020, ended on the afternoon of the 31st January.
Through today’s video, BTS said, “We heard that the award for best sound source is given to songs that have been loved by audiences for a year. We think it’s thanks to those who listen and love BTS music. We will work harder in the future.”
After the award for best album, they said: “It is a precious award that we have received this year. We could not hide our joy after hearing this news. We did our best to provide great music and an album every time. We are honored to receive the best prize.”
At the 30th Seoul Music Awards, BTS won the Best Sound Source Award, Best Album Award, Popularity Award, Whos Fandom Award, and even the Honorary Grand Prize. There is no other group / singer that has won this many awards since the KPop awards began in 1990.
Also at the awards were MCs Shin Dong-yeop, Choi Soo-young, Kim Hee-cheol, Lim Young-woong, Espa, Nhyphen, Treasure, Jesse, Tomorrow by Together, Kang Daniel, The Boys, Youji, Girls, ATEEZ, Stray Kids, Oh My Girl, NU’EST, TWICE, Monsta X, Seventeen and many other performers attended and made a great awards event.
