
‘My Universe,’ a collaboration song of the Kpop group BTS and Coldplay, is regaining its position on the Billboard charts.
According to the latest chart released by US Billboard, on January 25, BTS and Coldplay’s ‘My Universe,’ released on September 24 last year, ranked 92nd on the Billboard main singles chart ‘Hot 100.’
It climbed two steps from the previous week and charted for 17 weeks in a row. In addition, it ranked 19th on ‘Adult Pop Airplay’ and 36th on the ‘Billboard Canadian Hot 100.’
On the ‘Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter’ chart, BTS showed off their unrivaled presence by placing five songs, including member solo songs. ‘Butter’ came in 2nd place, ‘Dynamite’ came in 18th, member Jin’s tvN ‘Jirisan’ OST ‘Yours’ came in 10th, the SBS Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Our Beloved Summer’ OST ‘Christmas Tree,’ by V at 13th, and Jin’s surprise release song ‘Super Tuna’ at 13th place.
The ‘Hot Trending Songs’ chart ranks the most mentioned songs on Twitter in the last 24 hours or the last seven days.
BTS also ranked four songs each on the ‘Billboard Global 200’ and ‘Billboard Global (excluding the US)’ charts. These charts announce the rankings by counting streaming and sales in more than 200 countries/regions worldwide. On the ‘Billboard Global 200,’ ‘My Universe’ ranked 23rd, ‘Butter’ ranked 36th, ‘Dynamite’ ranked 47th, and ‘Permission to Dance’ ranked 115th.
BTS’s 4th full album, MAP OF THE SOUL: 7, ranked 195th on the main album chart ‘Billboard 200.’
In fact, it succeeded in charting for 94 weeks. Also, it ranked 45th on ‘Top Album Sales’ and 2nd on the ‘World Album’ chart.
‘BE,’ released in November 2020, ranked 99th in ‘Top Album Sales’ and 43rd in ‘Top Current Album Sales’ chart.
Meanwhile, ‘My Universe’ also ranked 30th on the UK’s latest official chart, up by one place from the previous week.
