
‘BREAK THE SILENCE: THE MOVIE’ is a documentary film about the BTS’s stadium tour journey. It won the MTV Awards in the United States.
BTS’s documentary ‘Break the Silence: The Movie’ won as the Best Music Documentary at the ‘2021 MTV Movie and TV Awards: Unscripted’ awards ceremony in Los Angeles on May 17th (local time).
‘Break the Silence: The Movie’ is a film about the journey of BTS’s stadium tour ‘LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF’ in 10 cities worldwide. It includes their tour to the Wembley Stadium in London, England. Also, this film features the true story of the seven members behind the stage.
After its release in September last year, it ranked first in the box office in Korea, the UK, and Germany. About 1.49 million people watched it worldwide. At the time of its release, it left a record of being the world’s largest theatrical release film since Covid-19.
‘MTV Movie and TV Awards: Unscripted’ is an award ceremony, which ‘MTV Movie and TV Awards’ established this year.
This award ceremony is for documentaries and reality programs only. They will award a total of 14 categories, including works and cast members.
‘Break the Silence: The Movie’ is one of the nominees, along with Ariana Grande’s ‘Excuse Me, I Love You,’ Billy Eilish’s ‘The World’s A Little Blurry,’ and Taylor Swift’s ‘Miss Americana.’ But, BTS’s ‘Break The Silence: The Movie’ won the award.
‘Break the Silence: The Movie’ is HYBE’s original content, which HYBE 360 produced. They develop the performance and media content business.
In addition, HYBE 360 said, “In the future, we will deliver high-quality original content without genre limitation.
