The members of BTS directly conveyed the reason why they are counted as the most popular boy group in the world.
At a global press conference commemorating the release of their new digital single ‘Butter’ held at the Olympic Hall at Olympic Park in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul on May 21st, the group BTS said, “We sing songs that contain concerns and stories in our lives. I think the fans like that part.”
BTS member Jin said, “I looked up videos and interviews related to us. Many people said thank you for telling us the right story for our age. I think that’s what I am interested in.”
He reveals the popularity factor that he find out himself.
Suga also said, “We’ve never talked and thought about it in detail. But, since we’re singers, we have pride in our main job. It’s common sense that we can’t be loved if we do something wrong on stage. I think fans like to see us trying to show perfect performance on stage.”
RM said, “I feel responsible for what values to pursue and what to talk about while living in this era. Butter has also found our own answer.”
He said, “The next answer is different from what it is now. Those things come together to become BTS’ music.”
‘Butter,’ released around the world at 1 pm today, is an addictive dance-pop genre song. It is the 2021 version of BTS’s exciting and cheerful Summer Song. It features a captivating bassline and a refreshing synth sound from the beginning.
‘Butter’ is the second English song of BTS, following the digital single ‘Dynamite. It became a hit worldwide after its release on August 21 last year. This new song, ‘Butter,’ contains BTS’s cute confession that it will melt you gently like butter and capture you.
Through ‘Butter,’ BTS once again melted their unique, irreplaceable style. Also, reports said they showed the opposite charms of BTS, sometimes on the softer side and sometimes on the intense side.
Butter’s choreography consists of BTS’s dynamic performance. They expressed cute villains with the choreography that everyone seemed to hang out with. Also, fans can see charming men moving with their point choreography that shows off their style while looking in the mirror. Every move of the seven members who perform separately and together stands out.
BTS also expresses their affection for the fandom ‘ARMY’ through ‘Butter.’ The lyrics ‘Got ARMY right behind us when we say so Let’s go’ is their direct message to ARMY worldwide.

On May 24th, the first performance of ‘Butter’ is set up at the ‘2021 Billboard Music Awards,’ which is one of the three major music awards in the United States.
