Top idol group BTS member Jin is still making a double hit with his solo songs ‘Super Tuna’ and ‘Yours.’
Jin’s ‘Super Tuna’ special performance video, released on December 4, 2021, through BTS’ YouTube channel ‘BANGTANTV,’ exceeded 53.07 million views as of 5:00 pm on February 10.
Contrary to Jin’s wish to enjoy lightly, the self-composed song ‘Super Tuna,’ which Jin gave fans as an event for his birthday (December 4), has been loved all over the world right after its release. It became a ‘Worldwide YouTube Music Trend.’
Also, it proved to be a hot topic by recording the number one spot and the longest-running popular video among BTS solo songs.
‘Super Tuna’ features an addictive melody, a bright and cheerful atmosphere. Its easy-to-follow choreography has been a hot topic since its release. So, it leads to a worldwide dance challenge craze.
Meanwhile, ‘Yours,’ the main theme song of ‘Jirisan,’ which is also Jin’s first solo OST, exceeded 42 million cumulative streams on Spotify.
‘Yours’ is a song that exudes a strong presence that we will never forget. It stimulates lyrical sensitivity with its elegant and beautiful tone and atmosphere.
‘Yours’ debuted at #45 on the Spotify global chart after its release on November 7, 2021.
In addition, ‘Yours’ made its sixth-place debut on the Spotify Korea Top 200 chart. It holds the longest-running chart among BTS solo songs. It swept the top 50 Spotify viral charts worldwide. Then, it ranked first on the Japanese Spotify Weekly Viral 50 chart for two consecutive weeks.
‘Super Tuna’ and ‘Yours’ ranked third and fifth on the real-time chart within 24 hours of Billboard Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter as of February 14 (KST). It ranked eighth in the real-time chart for the past seven days. BTS Jin is the only artist who ranked two solo songs in the top 10 on the chart.
