Top Kpop group BTS has set a record for the most No.1 on the US Billboard history of the ‘Digital Song Sales’ chart. US Billboard said on October 11 that BTS and rock band Coldplay’s ‘My Universe’ ranked first on the latest Billboard’s Digital Song Sales’ chart.
As a result, BTS topped the chart for a total of 45 weeks, becoming the artist with the most number of tops in history. Until last week, they were tied with American pop star Taylor Swift at number one for a total of 44 weeks. But, they set a new record of being number one for 45 weeks and once again announced their status to the world.
Meanwhile, the song ‘My Universe’ ranked 12th on the main singles chart ‘Hot 100.’
‘My Universe’ entered the first place in the first week by beating ‘Stay’ of hip-hop star The Kid Laroi and pop star Justin Bieber in the previous week. This song is BTS’s sixth song to top the ‘Hot 100’ after ‘Dynamite,’ ‘Butter,’ ‘Permission to Dance,’ ‘Life Goes On,’ and ‘Savage Love.’
