Kpop group BTS will not appear at the ‘2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).’
An official from Mnet’s ‘2021 MAMA’ said, on December 2, “We are discussing with BTS to make an appearance, but they decided not to appear.”
Earlier, the government announced a policy that all Koreans and foreigners entering Korea for two weeks from December 3 should be quarantined for ten days. It is regardless of whether they received the COVID-19 vaccination or not.
Currently, BTS is performing the ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA’ at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles (LA). Kpop group BTS will return to Korea after attending the famous US music festival ‘Jingle Ball’ on December 3 (US time). But, they will be unable to participate in the ‘2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards.’
In this regard, Mnet said, “It is difficult to produce a performance video due to their busy schedule, but we are preparing even a short video for their fans.”
Meanwhile, the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards will take place at CJ ENM Content Studio in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, at 6 pm on December 11.
