
The group BTS continued to make waves on numerous music charts. The new song ‘Butter’ topped the US Billboard ‘Hot 100’ for 6 consecutive weeks.
According to the latest chart (as of July 10) announced by Billboard, an American music media, on July 7th, BTS digital single ‘Butter’ topped the main single chart ‘Hot 100’ for 6 consecutive weeks. BTS achieved its first ‘Hot 100’ record for the first time as a Korean singer with ‘Dynamite’ released in August last year. Now, they reached their 11th ‘Hot 100’ list, including ‘Life Goes On,’ the title track of the ‘BE’ album, the remix version of ‘Savage Love,’ and the new song ‘Butter.’
Also, ‘Butter’ maintained the top spot on the ‘Digital Song Sales’ chart for 6 consecutive weeks, ‘Billboard Global (excluding the US)’ and ‘Billboard Global 200,’ ranking 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In addition, ‘Butter’ ranked 11th on the ‘Billboard Canadian Hot 100,’ 6th on ‘Canada CHR TOP 40,’ 11th on ‘Mexico Ingles Airplay Chart,’ and 11th on the ‘Pop Airplay Chart.’
On Billboard’s main album chart, ‘Billboard 200,’ BTS ranked their two albums. The 4th full-length album ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: 7,’ released in February, took 111th place, and ‘BE,’ released in November last year, took 161st place.
