Hello. This is Big Hit Music.
We regularly respond to malicious posts containing defamation, insults, sexual harassment, false facts, and malicious slander against BTS. So, we are happy to announce the progress in this regard.
Recently, we filed a complaint with an investigative agency based on reports from fans and new evidence collected through self-monitoring.
In particular, this complaint includes some non-logged users of DC Inside, an internet community. In fact, writing and deleting several malicious posts from a specific DC Inside gallery is happening for a long time. Even deleting records or canceling accounts after creating malicious posts, criminal investigations are still possible with minimal access records. This may be subject to sue.
As a result, the accused will need to pay fines. Also, civil damage claims are in progress after criminal disposition. We will continue to take strict measures to ensure that malicious authors are subject to strong legal penalties. There is no agreement or preemptive action in any case.
In addition, we regularly collect and report malicious posts against BTS and legally respond to them. So, we ask for active reports from fans to the Big Hit legal response account ([email protected]) in the future.
Above all, thank you for your love and dedication to BTS.
We will endeavor to protect the rights and interests of artists.
Thank you.
