Girl Group BLACKPINK Lisa’s solo title song “LALISA” successfully debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
According to the Billboard official Twitter, LALISA will feature 84th on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on September 25, 2021. This is the third time that a K-pop female solo singer’s song is on this chart. It is Lisa’s first solo debut and the 7th BLACKPINK song along with Rosé’s solo ‘On The Ground’. Lisa’s Lalisa and Rosé’s On the Ground’ recorded 84th and 70th respectively.
On the same day, ‘LALISA’ was ranked second on the Billboard Global charts and Billboard Global 200 charts respectively.
“LALISA” is a song that blends provocative brass riff reminiscent of sirens with dynamic rhythms. This is the powerful and dynamic song with Lisa’s rap, which is gaining great popularity. The song’s music video evokes a hot reaction. In Two days of release on YouTube, it broke 100 million views, breaking a new record for K-pop solo artist.
On the first day of release, LALISA reached the top of the iTunes charts in a total of 60 countries. It steadily increases the number of countries up to 71 countries. It entitles the best achievement of K-pop female solo artists on record sales. The album ‘LALISA’ recorded 800,000 pre-order volumes. It swept the Hanteo Chart and Gaon Retail Weekly Chart with just two days after its release.
