Actor and Kpop group B1A4 former member Jinyoung presents a new song.
Jinyoung will release the webtoon ‘Morning Kiss at Tiffany’s’ OST ‘You Said You Don’t Know What Love Is’ on major online music sites at 6 pm on October 21st.
Jinyoung participated in the songwriting, composing, arranging, and singing the OST ‘You Said You Don’t Know What Love Is.’
He opened up about the story behind the song, such as the meaning of the new song. Also, he shared the part that he focused on when producing.
Jinyoung said, “You Said You Don’t Know What Love Is’ is a love song. It is a sweet song that explains, ‘I don’t know love well. But, you don’t have to know the meaning of it because you are love itself.'”
In the past, Jinyoung has become famous as a producer of unique, thrilling, and vague songs. He produced the songs ‘When the Cherry Blossoms Fade,’ ‘At the Same Place,’ and ‘I’m Into You, I Mean I Love You.’
He has attracted the attention of many listeners since he announced the title of the new song.
Also, Jinyoung said about ‘You Said You Don’t Know What Love Is,’ “The outro sounds like a cute synth. The voice is also important, but if you focus on the sound of the instrument and the melody line, you will feel the sentimental expression of love.”
Former Kpop group B1A4 member Jinyoung compared the new song to ‘spring’ and wrote the melody imagining that the synth used in the song would be so pretty if it could be heard when cherry blossoms are scattered. He said, “I made this song by maximizing the sentimental feeling of love that fans like as much as possible. I would appreciate it if you could listen to my feelings,” he said.
‘You Don’t Know What Love Is’ is an R&B/synth-pop song with an attractive contrast of analog sound in the simple and groovy introductory hatching chorus. It will surely provide listeners with a spring-like feel that contains Jinyoung’s unique tone.
