Kpop group ATEEZ leader Hongjoong will do busking in Gyeongju.
According to his agency KQ Entertainment on November 23, Hongjoong is heading to Gyeongju on November 30 to celebrate the 1 million views of his YouTube video.
He launched its own content ‘BY. HONGJOONG’ on his official YouTube channel in May of last year. At that time, all eight ATEEZ members, including Hongjoong, made pledges by starting personal content. He promised with his fandom ‘ATINY’ that he would busk if he surpassed 1 million views. Right now, he will fulfill his promise to the fans.
‘BY. HONGJOONG’ is a content that arranges and presents masterpieces of each era in Hongjoong’s own style. So far, he released Michael Jackson’s ‘Black or White,’ Prince’s ‘Purple Rain,’ and David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity.’
Notably, in January, his cover video of rock band Linkin Park received rave reviews from original singer Linkin Park’s member Mike Shinoda. In fact, that cover video exceeded 1 million views in about 15 days after its release.
An official from the agency said, “As it is busking that Hongjoong has been planning for a long time, he is actively coming up with ideas and is practicing from time to time for a perfect performance. Under the government’s quarantine rules, we will create a performance that everyone can enjoy safely.”
Meanwhile, you can apply to watch Kpop group ATEEZ leader Hongjoong’s busking through their official fan cafe at 7 pm on November 23.
